Entire Loom

Anyone out there have an entire loom of cable from one brand, or better yet one type of cable from one brand. Right now I'm working on getting the whole kit and caboodle converted to Crystal Cable Micro, but it's slow going I tell you because I can never buy new.

what benefits have you experienced? Would you recommend to others?

My main rig is all Clear Day. Not the highest end out there. But I like the silver and I think Paul's cables are a great value. The one cable that isn't Clear Day is my IC from my TT to phono preamp... That's an Audio Sensibility Impact SE Phono Cable.

I'm into the high value stuff. :-)

I have all Siltech from speaker to IC to power to digital to phono. The whole loom. Once I completed the loom, everything clicked into place. I heard great consistency across all sources and the entire system was elevated to a new level of transparency and musicality.

Crystal is a great brand (sister brand to Siltech). Good luck in your search.

I hear good things about the Audio Sensibility brand. Wish I could hear them. It's a brand I could actually afford.

Hell of a way to describe a guys wife Mike :D

I've had Wire World Platinum 6 full loom & also Shunyata Anaconda. In my way of hearing, (IMWH) , yes it does make a noticeable difference, especially in coherence.

I have mostly Black Cat cables in my system (LectraLine Xe and Silver Heart ic's and speaker cables, Dragon Warlord pc) and a couple of Audience cables for the phono (Au24e and Au24SE low z). Each cable that I inserted into the system seemed to make things a little clearer and with more detail. I think it is a cumulative effect.

I have to agree...only my epiphany came when I went entirely with a combination of top-tier Wireworld cables (Gold and Silver Eclipse 7)

And that's leads to a good question. Would it be better, as in my case, to all go with Crystal Cable Micros, or would combining them with cables further up the Crystal Cable line prove more effective?

I have Nordost Heimdall for ICs and SC but Shunyata for power cables and power conditioner. But I have not tried to go with Nordost PCs and conditioning or to switch over ICs and SCs to Shunyata to see whether that makes a difference or not.

I have a full loom of Snake River Audio. They are the best value in audio for sure. These are Cryo'd & burnt in at shipping made of blends of silver/copper and silver/gold, and you won't need to mortgage the house to get a full loom.

I have heard the Audio Sensibilities Power and speaker cables. They punch WAY above their weight class. I believe he offers a trial period. The only way to tell what will work for you is to actually try it. It's a matter of synergy. What works well in my system or even in a certain position in my system most likely will not give you the same results in yours. I have not ever had a complete loom from a single mfg. Some of the reason is that I enjoy rolling wires, just like I enjoy rolling tubes. I view wires as seasoning. They are not the main ingredient but they bring the whole together and finish the dish. Good luck, try them first if possible and above all, enjoy and have fun.

I think it depends on the complexity of the system and paths. 2-ch for sure especially with signal cables.
