end game audio system -- how do you know you are there?

We love the PNW coming from Dallas and before that the Midwest. We are right on the north Oregon coast. Just south of Cannon Beach which somehow is usually ranked in the top 10 beaches in the USA.

It does mist a lot in the winter but temperatures are lows in the 40s and highs in the 70s year round. Yes - 3-4 days a year it gets below freezing but warms to 45 in the afternoon and 2-3 days it gets above 80 but still cools off to the high 50s at night. If you go more than a couple miles inland then the temps are not so moderate. It’s awesome.

However, to quote Tom McCall a famous Oregon governor — "Come visit us again and again. This is a **state of excitement**. But for heaven’s sake, don’t come here to live."

I have a friend getting her citizenship in Croatia. If you don't, real estate is less attractive. You may have to leave after 6 weeks. Not sure. Thats mostly the case with Italy.
I would assimilate and earn my citizenship. I have 3 factories in Italy and I am sure our legal team could help LOL.

Yes, he programmed for streaming video companies, including Disney, right out of College. He has stated that it’s a terrible time to be a “coder”. He has several more years to go, and turns 35 in a couple of weeks. As a retired physician, I don’t have a clue about finding a job like that.

My daughter, here in Seattle, is a research scientist, with PhD in active fabric technology (NASA funded). Her company is very security oriented, and I don’t know what she actually does. I’m mainly glad she/they did not stay in Minneapolis, where she did her studies. Not sure I could move there.

Our beach condo was in Rosemary Beach. The appreciation on that property allowed us to fund a nice house here in Seattle.

I am so burned out over the pile of stuff in my room. I want a integrated and a speaker. Maybe a TT. But thats it. I'm done.

Just listen with the lights out then no distraction, LOL

I personally don't see a reason to downsize as long as I can physically handle my system when needed.

I haven't upgraded since my DAC. I think that's over a year, I'm doing pretty good. The temptation is real although I'm happy with my system as is.
