Any users of the EMT OFD 15 or 25series mono carts. It has a really high output and I was wondering what SUT is best to use.
Also any concerns about the 5 gram tracking force.

Is this a two pin type?
Very high pressure, more than two times higher than Shindo SPU.
Its not good for LP playing.

Four pin OFD 15i
If its not good for LP playing than why to they make and sell them?

OFD 15 is for new releases of mono records and for those, to me the five grams seem much heavy stuff. Depends on the needle cut they use.

LOL-Thats true for the finer things in life. They are mostly exclusive for the wealthier ones with a special taste for good living.
Times when Western Electric went for nearly nothing are over, since decades this stuff went for the big bucks to find a new home.
But try to see good music reproduction as a work of art and compare it to other fine artworks. Its still nearly inexpensive. You only have to choose the things that are worth the investment and match well together. But thats a profession itself.

I finally got the cartridge. I bought it used with low hours, and used it at a friends house to test it. What a great cartridge. So easy to listen to.

Jusr curous for the name change of the company.
Thought that Shindo was his real name, but maybe just a marketing thing?
