Do you mind if I ask you a question and please forgive my ignorance for not knowing, but what exactly are the differences between your ER845 tube and the molybdenum versions of the ER845, which you call the ER284? Also is the ER284 safe to be used in any amp that can run regular 845 tubes like my Mastersound Reference 845 amp? And finally what do your ER845 and ER284 cost per pair these days?

The ER284 is electrically identical to the ER845. It has a slotted molybdenum plate and silver wiring in the base

Also is the ER284 safe to be used in any amp that can run regular 845 tubes like my Mastersound Reference 845 amp?
