Economy and Finance Thread

What we witnessed on the streets last year was not a mini civil war? It’s normal to light buildings on fire with people in them?

Uncivil but-no war , war requires opposing force so unless you plan on making Magico vs WA claims i don't see it happening ..

:)

I’m not going to get into it but you should analyze what you said. There were opposing forces.

See, I told you guys that this thread could not exist without Politics. We all need to pray that the White Hats turn this mess around or we can all kiss our money and economy goodbye.

Serge, I could not bear to check 'Like this post' for it is truly sad and disgusting .....

I know what you mean Dave. Not the first time we are in this situation either. History repeats itself over and over...

Gold doesn't bring water (rain). It's useless. Water brings forests, irrigates food crops, vineyards, saves lives, children, men and women. Water is life. Invest in water supplies, regenerating potable water, clean water, contaminant-free.

Pure gold, 24karats, 💎 diamonds, guns have no properties in saving the planet. ...Just the total opposite ... destruction, wars, etc. ...Bad investments, not good for a sane, safe, healthy and prosperous economy ... just like make-ups and mascara products (oil and animals based); bad for the face, bad for the oceans, for the 🐳 whales.

Nuclear fusion; that's one spot to invest for a better economy. IMO ... calculated opinion.

This bit of news/update made me laugh. Space suits were not a problem in 1969 but NASA needed 14 years to design them this time around and still not done? Hmm…

NASA Wants To Return To The Moon By 2024, But The Spacesuits Won't Be Ready | 90.1 FM WABE

I like this article same subject. A little more detail as why they need to spend up to a billion dollars on new suits. Current spacesuits won’t cut it on the moon. So NASA made new ones. | MIT Technology Review

14 years, 10 years, they most likely have already got a suit designed to withstand the moon dust and are just padding the report to obtain continued funding.

Well, believe it or not... Only recently have the "radiation levels" on the Moon been actually measured. The Chinese had to do it with their lunar probe Chang E4 in 2019. It wasn't good news. The radiation is 3 times the level of the dose experienced on the ISS in low orbit and 200 times the amount of surface radiation on Earth. Again, wasn't a problem in 1969 supposedly but a few days is not exactly a prolonged stay as they are planning this time around. To stay on the surface of the Moon is to dig deep and stay protected.

If Lehman Brothers was the trigger for the financial collapse and worldwide ripples with their $3 Billion bad debt back in '08, I would imagine the Chinese Evergrande with their $300 Billion default will also have an impact this time around. There are over 100 banks and various funds that are directly connected to the Chinese corporate titan. China has many tricks up its sleeve and the impact will be much softer internally but in the mean time, the US Bonds of Evergrande are selling at 30 cents on the dollar...
