Of course the Taliban is well trained. The Taliban now has all the well trained by US dollars and experts ex-Afghanistan soldiers joining them or else they and their families will be executed. That's how it works over there and that's why one doesn't go there to make enemies and expect to win with minimal casualties to the innocent population. It just can't be done. How many have tried and failed over the centuries??? Gotts to know history and who you are dealing with when picking a fight....
 
What Amerikhans dont understand is the Taliban is not Hamas , Al Queda or the Mujahadean.....

Not a war strategist or a military analyst but common sense tells me that China being buddies with a willing group of terror is a bit of a concern.... Imagine virtually unlimited resources backing a very willing group to do all kinds of things anywhere they can get to... China is growing bolder by the day and this relationship will be yet another tool at its disposal.... Taiwan is next on the list of conflicts me thinks!

I like history. I respect leaders that were decisive and heroic at times when people needed them most.

When 340,000 English soldiers were trapped at Dunkirk, Churchill sent fishing boats across the Channel to get them home. Under direct attacks of the German Luftwaffe

When 49,000 Jews needed rescuing from Yemen, a newborn Jewish State rescued them from an enemy country. Operation Magic Carpet.

When 15,000 Americans are trapped in Afghanistan, Secretary of Defense of the most powerful country on earth Lloyd Austin says, "We don't have the capability to go out and collect large numbers of people." That is just beyond sad....
