My EAR 868 showed up today. I just hooked it up to my ART monos. Definitely a different presentation compared to my GAT. I rather like it. I should not say too much as I have been warned to expect dramatic changes over the next 100 plus hours. It's pretty sweet and a little full (read thick in the bass) but not objectionable for my taste.

Wow Joe she's a beauty!!! I'm a huge Ear fan. Just loved anything I've heard from them.
Congrats and good luck. With that Gat in the house it's got a lot to live up to.

Line only $5795 (This is what I have. I am thinking I should have ordered the phono input for fun.)

At those prices, I think it's worth it!
