Dynavector 507MKII still relevant?

I'm having issues with my Dynavector 507mkII. It will be sent to Japan for repair. That made me think. Should I keep using it once I get is back. The 507mkII isn't the most recent design nor has it ever been a popular tonearm.

Would maybe a more modern Reed 2G for example be better?

What do you think?

Reed, AMG JT12, Brinkmann 12.1, SME IV, Kuzma 4P... lots of choice available for probably better end-result.
