disappointed in DSD download selection

I'm hooked on DSD, but do not currently have an SACD transport or player. I thought I could get away with purchasing DSD downloads and have acquired more than 70 in the last few months from sites like Blucoast,nativedsd,prostudiomasters, etc. However there is a lot of music I'd like to have that is available on SACDs but just isn't available as a DSD download. Is this likely to change in the near future ? If not I'm thinking of either getting a used SACD transport that would work with my DAC (MSB Discrete DAC) like the MSB Universal player or trying to get one of the OPPOs that allow ripping of SACDs. Either way I'll have to buy SACDs. I just don't see any other alternatives for the music I want to hear (mostly classical). Tidal streaming, even MQA just doesn't sound as good to my ears as DSD. Am I missing any alternative solutions ?
 
I'm having difficulties locating a used player that is capable of SACD ripping. I found a used OPPO 103D but it has been modded and I'm not sure if the mods have disabled its ability to rip SACDs. Are there any new players that can do this ?

I dont know , it’ s a specific chip which makes the ripping possible.
All I know comes from the above mentioned thread at CA.
I found my sh Pioneer at Polish auctions site, kind of ebay, a while ago though.
And then my son helped me to make it operational for ripping sacd’s.

Mediatek chip. You can use an unupgraded PS3 as well.Tyson and others at audiocircle used to do a ripping service for people. I am sure people with rippers may do it for you, if you send them the disks or prove you have the disks they already ripped.

Thank you-- I really think I need to get a unit myself as I don't really have too many SACDs at the moment, but I think I'll be having to buy some if I want to hear the DSD music that is unavailable for download.
I would happily purchase the OPPO 103D if I knew for certain that the mods wouldn't affect the ripping capability.
 
If you want to try DSD256 files of classical (and some jazz) ripped from 15ips 2 track tapes, try highdeftapetransfers.com. Bob Witrak has released more DSD256 classical albums than just about anyone. He also has released a large number of DXD352 albums. Sales take place just about every holiday (I expect this Christmas will be no exception). Many outstanding albums from the golden era of analogue stereo classical music recordings.

I've ripped stuff for people on my PS3 as well (I have a couple of Oppo 103Ds but have not tried it) as I got one years back to rip my own.

I know the OPPO 103D is one of the players with the ripping chipset, and I would not hesitate to buy one that did not have any mods done to it. Want to sell one of yours ? :)

Sorry - but use both of mine. One in the bedroom system, which feeds the outdoor speakers, and I can of course with the Oppo to play files from the NAS (and of course is for video). The other is in the main system and gets used for video only. Whenever that PS3 goes (and it doesn't get used tons as I've extracted all my ISOs, buy an occasional SACD and sometimes rip things for others - ripped a couple for a friend last week), then I have a couple of 103Ds to try.
