Deleted/Rejected/Banned/Threatened on WBF?

Ralph, they probably see you as harmless and no competition to the paying groups. In a time of trying to grow the hobby, this is the wrong approach IMO. Manufacturer participation should be encouraged and free.

Anyone ever see what value having Lumin here (for free) has added?

What have I asked for in return? Well, at Munich this May, we borrowed a X1 from the Lumin guys when our DAC hadn’t yet arrived during the first day of setup. A one day loan. That’s it. No special treatment. No bro deals. No discounts. Nada. Just happy to have them here to answer questions and provide support.

This statement is false. I've been on there for a very long time and have never given them a dime.

Its also possibile I've no idea what you're talking about.

Yeah, you have no idea idea what I was talking about. Did you create a sub forum on WBF to promote Atma-Sphere?

my post was deleted and I was banned for like a week when I posted speakers, they did lift the ban but they did warn not to post my speakers, just a pic by the way, not a for sale add anything
The forum rules ask that you not advertise through posting on the forums. You can talk about your product if asked but simple promotion violates forum rules on almost any forum site like this one. So this is no surprise. In order to become a member, you had to read the forum rules and agree to them.

No. But there is one there. Someone on the staff created it and let me know its there. I was also invited to have a space on the 'expert forums' portion, but didn't respond so that opportunity passed.

Your navigation is horrible, no links to provide quicker access or save your spot. If I go to a 10 page thread and maybe last visit it was 3 pages I'd have to scroll the thread to see where I left off. No links on the pages to take you back to where you were.

Yeah, pictures do me no good. I assume you are trying to show me something about WBF. I checked out the site again. There is a button at the top of thepage that will take me back to "new posts", for instance, it takes me to the page but I have to then search for where I left off or want to go. Just in contrast if I click "what's new" on this site it takes me back to the last thread I clicked on. If I click on the time the last person posted it will at least take me to the correct page here. There's nothing on WBF to take me to where I left off in a thread, some of those threads may have over 10 or 20 pages, I'm not searching pages to look where I left off.

I assume you are trying to defend WBF even my friends who are members tell me it's less user friendly than other sites in regards to navigation. Links to get around a site are basic. Besides you can show what you want if it's not user friendly, accessible, to me I just won't use it and will continue to complain. I actually know Ron and have given feedbak before so I assume they don't care or it costs more to fix than willing to pay.

Are you logged in when you click that button? When I use it I don’t have to scroll anywhere, it takes me to exactly where I left off. I’m not trying to defend anything, my post was to show WBF has the feature you requested and for me it works exactly as expected. Why it doesn’t work that way for you is something I can’t answer.

I can confirm that what @Daverich4 said in his response to you is correct. I've never had to search for where I left off since the inception of that site.

I never bothered with WBF. Glad I didn’t. Not surprising that Amir would be banned given his objective mindset. I’m surprised he would even bothered to participate on that site. In any case, his site has 10 times more viewers than WBF.

Amir didn't just "participate" on WBF, he was the co-founder and co-owner of WBF. The divorce was messy.

Having worked in digital marketing for many years, you need to take those sites that post that info with a massive grain of salt. Most of those stats they post are not even close to be the real numbers.

This is not a pro or anti WBF statement. Just in general about trying to obtain metrics from sites such as that.

So if you go to "new posts" see a thread you read before but don't remember which page you last read how would you get to where you left off? Let's say it has 10 pages.
If its a thread in which I'm interested I'm likely to put up a post of my own. If that happens I get an email when there is a response. I navigate from there. If I make no response but am interested, I click 'Watch' at the top of any page of the thread. That will cause an email to be sent to me if anyone posts to the thread. So I've never had to navigate in the manner you describe.

Founder and divorce? Wow, I was not aware of that. Judging by the users/viewers and credibility, Amir came out on top.

I can understand your point.
Yet, a cursory look at the daily posts at both sites shows a much much higher number of posts/users at ASR than WBB.

I don't agree that Amir came out "on top." I quit WBF years ago because I couldn't stand Amir and his non-stop narcissism. He's Mr. Codec from Microsoft.

I for one don't take ASR seriously and don't read it. Regardless of the website traffic you posted, I seriously doubt ASR comes close to the reach of WBF.
