I was at Bob's this weekend listening to the S3s and the S5s. Totally agree with your assessment of the S5s. Neutral, dynamic, and highly resolute!

You mentioned in the first video you will be trying Audio Note. Audio Note UK or Audio Note Kondo?

Audio Note Kagura. Bob should be bringing it by after get back from a long delayed honeymoon in Hawaii! :)

BTW, Bob was by here a couple of time and think he liked what he heard here. :)

Have a great honeymoon! Went to HI for my honeymoon as well. Big Island and Kauai. Both beautiful in different ways.

Excellent review Myles….many thanks. REALLY looking forward to your review of the Kondo Kagura (it's on my short list, possibly for use with either Q7 or M Project) and how it compares with your CJ. Are you planning to use Kondo preamp and cables as well? Enjoy Hawaii. Thanks again! Ash
 
great review Myles and i learn something new everyday, i had no idea that audio note was 2 separate companies. they even look similar, but i guess the price difference is a big key that i should have guessed. youll be seeing me in the fall. hopefully before you give back the doshi :D have a great honeymoon, i spent 4 years on maui and visited every part of just about every island and loved it all. i may end up back there again someday .

Everyone should experience both Myles' system and more importantly he and his lovely wife's hospitality.....everything first class all the way!

Have a safe and wonderful delayed Honeymoon, and thanks for turning me onto that wonderful - Cyndee Peters - Black Is The Color Opus 3 recording, I made me dig through my collection and marvel at it in fond memories. Now I've to download it as a means of preserving the LP.

It was a pair of S1s here at David Michael Audio that caught me by surprise - and coming from a long term Mini-Monitor lover, this was for me, the first time I've ever wanted a pair of floor standers, so your review, and the video truthfully touched my spirit, once again - safe passage.

Very knowledgeable and competent and personable. And holy cow delivery was perfect. No ums or uhhs or ya knows. Perfect flow and cadence and thought/logic trails.

Also loved the emphasis on no smearing of low end and comparison to planar, dynamic and ribbon. I agree.
