I’ll be there Tuesday night in New Orleans. I can’t wait. My first Dead show. I have the nugs.net app subscription and have streamed all the shows of this fall tour. Great stuff.

Saw the Dead with John Mayer at Alpine Valley a short while ago. Mayer really grooves with Bob, Mickey, Bill and others. Great synergy and great show!

I heard John Mayer took out a full page ad in Rolling Stone thanking D&C for the privilege of touring with them. classy move and JM is a damn fine axe player in his own right.

With a totally different sound and style than JG, which helps D & Co sound a little less like a tribute band
 
I am so bummed out. Tonight’s show in New Orleans postponed. John Mayer had emergency appendectomy early this morning. This is my 2nd straight concert postponement, first was Jason Isbell in September. Oh well, life happens. Hope I can make the re-scheduled date.

Bird Song had me smiling ear to ear. Loser was unreal, and the bird->slipknot->Franklin to starts set 2 was spectacular
