hello everybody ! I just joined here and live in sweden mostly,, i have a question about if anyone have some experience with Dali epicon 8 ? I have order 1 pair from denmark and will arrive later this month. I really like the Dali sound since i have owned 1 pair of Rubicon 8. So my question is now my current amplifier is a Denon 2020 ae with 2*80 watts with a warm sound. But i feel maybe its need a Little Moore Power to Dali Epicon 8 to do them right ? If anyone here have have suggestion for a better amplifier with a *warm big sound* i bee happi lissen to u. Inergrated amplifier is my nr 1 choice,, what do u recomend if so ? Thank u

We have several members who've owned Dali's, I'm sure that they will chime in.

If so that bee great to hear if they have some good suggestions and experience of dali epicon 8 about my question. I look forward to hear !

Price range? Tubes or SS?

I'd look into these models for a high power integrated:

T+A PA 3000 HV
Hegel H300
Gryphon Diablo 300 (available in a few months)
Vitus RI-100
Octave V110 (tube)

thanks for ur answer Anatta, the us dollar currency very high in sweden,,so my price range to Swedish krona will be to about 4000-8000 us dollar about for intergrated amplifier.no Moore. So if anybody have lissen to Dali Epicon 8 with a intergrated amplifier with a *big warm sound* within my price range i bee happi to hear their opinion ! thanks

Hello Hakan

While I was researching the Marantz PM-11s3 integrated amp, I came across this picture and short story in Dali's website:-

EPICON 8 - Easy and transparent

It appears that the Epicon 8 was successfully paired with the Marantz at a Russian show. The amp's recommended price is US$4999 but I'm sure you could get it for less. All reviews say it has a warm, detailed sound so it may be what you're looking for.

Good luck and please keep us informed!

You can purchase Hegel amps from Norway. Hegel would be great match with the Epicon 8's, trust me.

I had Epicon 8's paired with a Hegel H30 and it was a sublime combination.
