Dali Epicon 2 | Review

That's why I posted the review Paul, they are deliciously good lookin'. ...And the build quality (drivers, binding posts, woodwork, shape, finish, simple stands, simple form, ...) is right in my alley. ...And they would fit perfectly in my main listening room.

I would love to audition them. Because if that love has any reciprocity at all, I would take them home with me. And there I would know even more...

Eventually a Dali subwoofer ... And that, I trust myself on how to integrate it with verve.

...And the search for the 'perfect' matching stereo amp, and preamp. ...And wires.
Start with the speakers first that match my room, and build from there. ...Everything else!
Simplicity, beauty, nothing complicated, sweet music to my soul in heaven on Earth.

He said that as Two-way speakers in general not as Hi-end speakers.

I think some one has this pair in our member. There are not many Dali dealer in Canada.

Let me check: a) How many pair of two-way speakers I can find with dual pair of binding posts. b) How many pair of two-way speakers are considered high-end (audiofile) that I can also find. c) How many audio dealers are selling Dali speakers in Canada, that I can find.

Saw them at my dealer in New York- absolutely beautiful, but did not hear them. My dealer still insists on only one pair of speakers in a room at any given time- so as i was not intending on buying, i did not listen - did hear the kudo x2 (more in my price range) but ultimately dug deeper for the harbeths

I believe it is $8000.00 (too rich for my blood) and much higher than any steak by the pound *L*

I absolutely love mine! They are very transparent, detailed, and overall exceedingly musical. I much prefer them over my previous Martin Logan Theos.
