Dag Master Power 2+ vs McIntosh 452

Hmmmm. Interesting comparison. I had an original D’Agostino S200 and it was really good. The new updated S250 is supposed to be amazing. Certainly much better from trusted owners. I’d like to think the Master Power amps have the same house sound.
The 452 could be a sleeper on Magico. Mike may have some insight into that. My MC303 has really surprised me in a great way. Superb performer.
I’m looking forward to other opinions on these. I’d be game to try the McIntosh.

The Master Power 3+ we have , drives a Wilson Audio Mezzo center and 2 Yvettes for the backs, and does a great job for a Sepultura live in Sao Paulo concert, but I can't say it was isolated enough to tune in on just the Dag 3+. The 2 Dag Progression monos drive the left and right fronts.
In another room the MC452 does indeed sound amazing with Wilson Audio Sabrinas for 2 channel.
You do have my curiousity peaked to just hear the 3+ for 2 channel.
