Custom HiFi Cables Ltd. PP10 Passive Preamp - Anyone tried one?

While some passive preamps can be outstanding, I almost always prefer an active preamp, tube with lower gain as a first choice or great SS preamp.

If they offer a trial period, it's certainly worth a shot. I'm usually surprised when a piece that I think will not be great, performs impeccably. You never really know until it's used in your own system.
 
If you are sure your power amp(s) have an input impedance >50k... generally you'd be OK. if less than 50k and then depending on the Impedance of the passive preamp - issues could arise.

I would totally agree with everything Joe said!
