I am not much of a Madonna fan though there are a handful of her tracks that I like to listen to. One of the tracks I never cared much for (actually disliked) was "Vogue". I still don't really like it but I must say the version I listened to off her "Immaculate Collection" has some of the craziest "surround" effects I have come across.
At the very beginning her voice goes from left of my seating position to right front corner. Sound effects follow in those locations before the bass kicks in centered directly between my speakers. When her vocals return it bounces all over the place. I would swear I was listening to a surround set-up.
I have played the Tidal version via Roon.
