Has anyone compared the CJ Premier 350 with the PS audio BHK 250/300?

I am currently using the CJ ET5 with the ET250S and wondering how the two amps in questions perform. My speakers are Magnepan 3.7.

If I change the amp, I would keep the ET5. I am not sure if it is considered an upgrade if I decide to get the either amp.

Let me know if you have any experiences with these amps.

Thanks

Hi Jim,

I have owned both the CJ Premier 350 and BHK 300s. While I’ve loved both, my preference is for the BHK 300 amps.

Bascom King had a hand, either wholly or in part, in designing both amps. I mentioned the similarities between the two and my preferences for the newer BHK amps on the PS audio forum. Paul forwarded my comments to Bascom and he exclaimed that he designed those amps and appreciated my opinion and was excited about me picking up on the sound characteristics.

I easily picked up on the family resemblance but felt that the BHK amps are more civilized and linear across the board. The BHK amps have the best of tubes and solid state, just wonderful amps.
