Configure Lumin front display + use of an external remote control?

Hi I am considering buying a Lumin unit probably the T2.
I have some questions so there is someone who can advice me here, it would be really helpful:
1- I understand Lumin units can only be run by the Lumin app which is very efficient. Is it possible to configure an external remote control to run Lumin such as Logitech Harmony?
2- There is a detail that bothers me about the front panel display. I would prefered to have more space for the artist and song name instead of having the #played song / #song in queue. Is it possible to configure this in order to have a more cleaner front display? I mean, is it possible to hide song played / queue?

1. Not that I'm aware of. Lumin is OpenHome, UPnP and Roon compliant. Any device that can do these will be able to do basic playback controls.
2. The front panel is not configurable other than that you may turn it off.
