There are several companies offering services to help people monitor and reduce the exposure of their personal information online. PureVPN’s Digital Privacy Protection is one such offering, combining breach-related monitoring, exposure reports, and data-removal assistance.

he distinction between identifying exposed information and successfully reducing that exposure seems particularly important. An alert may be useful, but the clarity of the findings and the actions available afterward matter just as much.

There is also the question of trust. Using a privacy service can involve providing personal information, which raises reasonable questions about how that information is handled and whether the benefits justify another subscription.

Has anyone here used their Digital Privacy Protection? How useful were its findings, and what was your experience with the data-removal assistance?

Great question.

I used to work in digital marketing.

There are so many other ways they get your info (such as even just from downloading and app) and ways to reverse-append the data to find out everything about you not sure it's really worth it.

If you use Amazon or Gmail or FB they already know more about you than you do.
