Yes, I have the Coincident Frankenstein 300b monos and think they are wonderful. Very powerful 8 watts not syrupy at all and plenty extended in the bass and treble. I changed the coupling caps to Jupiter copper foil and it made a nice improvement, but not as much as I thought it would. I guess it is a well thought out design with good transformers.
Throw some good tubes in there and your all set.

Thank you. Last time I read his post I fell asleep after 5 mins LOL.Great review. Now Israel Blume is making a Mark III version with lot of update with Transformer, Wiring , Caps etc
Don't have to hear it - just looking at it is bad enough. Regardless of the component quality, I would never want to be subjected to sound from that system - there are so many compromises in set-up - little-to-no chance that ANY components could overcome such a badly damaged Acoustic Wave-Launch ...
Let's leave it that - IMO - it could be vastly better.
