Clarisys Setup Vienna

To answer that, it helps to understand a bit of the background.

The High End Society is a German industry organization whose membership includes many major German manufacturers, distributors, and long-established industry participants. For the 2025 event, we invested heavily in our presence, spending close to €75,000 on a large exhibition room for the Clarisys Audio Atrium system. Stavros from Aries Cerat made a similarly significant commitment.

When registration opened for Vienna 2026, we applied immediately for a large room. However, we later received an automated rejection stating that the show had to reduce the number of exhibitors. Around the same time, several industry participants, including Aries Cerat, encountered similar challenges.

Rather than viewing this as a setback, it became an opportunity.

Stavros had already begun developing an alternative concept: a highly curated exhibition environment focused on quality rather than quantity. He invited Clarisys Audio to join what became the XClusive Show, and we gladly accepted.

The idea is simple. Instead of hundreds of exhibitors competing for attention in acoustically compromised hotel rooms and exhibition spaces, the XClusive Show focuses on a limited number of carefully selected exhibitors presenting world-class systems in properly prepared environments. The emphasis is on serious music lovers, customers, and industry professionals who genuinely want to experience the best that high-end audio can offer.

In our view, this approach was an overwhelming success. The atmosphere was relaxed, the rooms were thoughtfully prepared, the acoustics were significantly better controlled, and visitors could spend meaningful time listening rather than rushing from room to room.

By comparison, many of the rooms at the main exhibition suffered from inherent acoustic challenges, including large air handling systems, difficult room dimensions, significant sound leakage between rooms, and limited opportunities for proper setup. For products as revealing and demanding as the Clarisys Audio systems, the listening environment is simply too important to leave to chance.

Most importantly, what began as a professional collaboration between Aries Cerat and Clarisys Audio has developed into a genuine friendship built on shared values, engineering passion, and a commitment to musical excellence.

As things stand today, Clarisys Audio will be part of the XClusive Show for the foreseeable future, and we believe this concept represents an exciting direction for the future of ultra-high-end audio demonstrations: fewer rooms, better systems, better acoustics, and more meaningful experiences for the people who matter most—the listeners.
Given so many problems with main venue, do you think they will change to a new venue or back to Munich next year?

I'm hearing talking to some of my European audio buds today BMW bought the previous venue and as such they are looking to allow shows there.

Rumor is it may be back there next year.
