Clarisys Audio at the Florida International Audio Expo

Nice! Love the latest Regas. If I can sell my Michell Gyro SE, SME V and Koetsu Urushi Vermilion, will be looking into getting a P8 or P10.

P10 for sure!

I see all the speaker stats on the Clarisys Audio website. I note that the neodymium magnets change the speaker's efficiency which makes sense. How do they change the impedance values from the standard magnetics? The Opera's 1-2 ohms are a little on the low side and for some reason appear to be lower than all the other models. Why is that? I would think that might be a popular model price-wise, but it's harder to drive.

Barry, the Opera is being redesigned at this time and hence why we don’t even have it on our price sheet. It’s the last to get the redesign and Neo treatment.

Have you guys heard about the all new Rega Naia, new top model above the P10 coming this Autumn. Expected pricing £9,200 without cart or £12,000 with Aphelion 2. "The visual similarity to the Planar 10 hides that reality that almost every part has been revised and updated and some items like the titanium arm pieces and zirconium bearing are a world removed from the ‘cheaper’ Planar 10."

I know this thread isn't about photography, but my goodness - that is one beautiful "centerfold" shot, Puma!

Oh, thanks.

Actually, it could be better, I just shot a snapshot of it in available light. If I were doing professional level product shots of it, I would light it properly, balance the luminance across the frame and strip out any color contamination.

Here's a product shot of the Lampi Baltic 3....
