Clarisys ARIA

I won’t have my pair until February. 🥺

My pair is off to Poland, then a reviewer, then Florida show, then to my showroom.

I can’t wait. I heard them in Munich and was just blown away. The bass is especially unbelievable.

Look great! I got my Arias set up and then left for vacation 2 days afterwards. So I haven’t really placed them other than to put the mid/tweet column in the same place as the mid/tweet ribbon of my studios. I do have them toed in more than you have as I again toed them like I had the studios. The Arias were giving me a great center and soundstage in that placement.

Next week when I get back I’ll play around with placing them and see what I like best.

Latest update:
After living with the Clarisys Arias for the last 2 months I have settled in on the setup in my 22.5' x 33.5' room.
Mid & tweeter towers 1" toe in, Bass towers 1.5" toe in. Speakers are close to being 1/3 out into the room & seating 11' away from mid/ tweeter towers. I'm getting fantastic soundstage & tonal balance, they will stay in this setup for the foreseeable future. As more owners get their Arias I would be curious to see what they find works best in their rooms.

Congratulations on a fabulous setup! That room looks amazing.
Really interesting to read about the gains you have made with the toe in.
Just curious, but do they favor any particular genre? How do they play classic rock or blues?

Thanks for sharing your room with us!

Hi Mike. They will sound great in your Showroom! Hope you are going to mate them with VAC as well.
Yes, the Bass on the Arias' is outstanding & I have never heard better sound staging on any speaker.
I'm hoping to make it to the Florida show this year.

Thank You!
In my room (Mid/Tweeter 1 " toe in, Bass 1.5" toe in) seems to work best for my room & my preference.
I've moved them any ware from 0 toe in, to a max of 8" to in & every ware in between on these panels to get a feel for the best setting.
I also played with different toe in differences between the mid/tweeter & bass panels, lots of work but it pays off in the long run.
It's really a matter of room interaction & personal preference.
I listen to classic rock, blues, & jazz mostly. I do listen to classical as well when the mood lifts me.
My goal when I changed speakers (as well as judging speakers) is they have to play all genres well, really not well but great! The Clarisys excel on all types of music, they are a special speaker!

The design of the base of the tweeter mid tower is interesting. I wonder whether Florian can give some insight on the design.

It looks like Aria is a superior model to Auditorium.
Since I've owned both I would not say superior, Different yes, there are differences, but I would say it will come down to your personal preference & taste. The new Auditoriums are a fantastic speaker!

We will use VAC in the showroom. At the expo? TBD.

@Mike ,

Whats the deal with Block and your other SS amps , do you use them on Clarysis ? most demos are with VAC it seems ..!
They work great. Why do we use VAC? They are our friends, they sound great and they bring all the gear for shows and chip in for room costs and provide additional marketing. Cuts down on a lot of work and expense.

Funny how people see things. The reality is business and business relationships.

That's great! I heard the big Atriums at Munich and they just flattened everything else at the show.
Just a fantastic speaker that had that rare magic of playing the music (seemingly) without any reproach.

Congratulations once again on the Arias! Will be following this thread closely.
