Chord DAVE owners, do you guys have a favorite default setting? PCM+ or DSD+?
 
Mike, I know the PCM is great. How do you like the DSD and on which setting does it work best?

The PCM is outstanding, but the DSD is also good. The PCM mode for all music is more dynamic, with better extension on the top. The DSD is a little smoother, warmer, but only by a touch.

I've just started experimenting with cables. Going to try AES/EBU today.

Aurender N10 is the source.
 
Mike, how do you feel about the source feeding the Dave? Rob watts states that the source and cables shouldn't affect the dave's performance

I'm going to experiment today. I have tried U1 and N10. I am heading to my storage unit to rummage through my cables and get some other TYPES of digital cables (AES/EBU, etc.)
