I know most won't have much input on cheap little amps but maybe someone has experience or can comment.

I have a simple office system for background music or youtube vids and not intended for critical listening. I have 3 other systems for that :)

Current setup is my PC > Firestone Foobar DAC > Lepai 20x20 chip amp > Dynaudio 42s

Yes it's a silly setup and I was really surprised at the sound from my little Dyns since I only paid $20 for the amp. Problem is the Volume Knob on the Lepai has started to flake out at the low volume end and that is where I usually listen.

I am looking at a Fosi Audio V3 Stereo Amplifier Home Audio 300 Watts x2 Power TPA3255 Class D Mini Amp. AI says it would be a good match for my 4ohm 42s as that is the amps sweet spot for power output.

At $70, it seems to fit the bill nicely and reviews are mostly positive.

If anyone has any thoughts or experience, please comment.

I have the little Fosi Class D amp I bought off Amazon for about $100. It has bluetooth as well and pre amp out.

I use it to burn in all the new gear I get so I don't put time on my tubes.

It's been great. Always turns on, always immediately sees the bluetooth signal. Zero issues.

I will say this - no way it puts out the purported power output though.

But It's $100 well spent in my mind.

Thanks Mike! I don't care if it doesn't put out 300wpc. I don't believe it either. But it will surely put out more than the Lepai. I don't need bluetooth or tone controls, just a solid little amp for my office.
