In my listening room I have a Playback Designs Stream-IF connected to a Playback Designs MPS5 via fiber.
When I purchased the Stream-IF purchasing a basic Corning ST-ST cable was what was suggested.
A friend that was in the defense industry and is an audio person suggested I try an OptoSpan fiber Cable. OptoSpan makes much of the fiber that is then turned into cables.
Yesterday I took delivery of this 30ft cable.

I installed it yesterday and was stunned by the improvement in clarity and imaging that I had no issue with 10 minutes before.
I now it's another one of those "crazy small things can't matter", but it did.
I have a 60ft, different type of Optospan fiber cable I am going to install in the next week that brings the ethernet signal to my listening room.
We will see if it makes any difference. I will add the results here.
Sorry the picture is so big. I couldn't figure out how to make it smaller.
