Chair Or Other Listening Seat Recommendations?

I just got the Stressless "Vegas" model -- it will be here in a couple of weeks. Thank you for the recommendation! The Herman Miller Eames chair looks nice too, but I like the Stressless model for now.

We have two. For the wife, the Mayfair and for me the Kensington. Some advice. You need to go seat in a few styles as with anything different styles carry different prices

What is your zip code ? Find a Store

I got an Ekornes two place couch that I thought would be perfect for two. It fits, looks great, but is not all that comfortable.

Mike.......That chair is a beauty. The entire room looks fabulous.

Very nice indeed. the louvered vertical wood panels on the side of the room are nice and appear to have an acoustical property -- diffusers? If if not, they still look cool.

That is an awesome looking room.

Cassina is the one I'm getting
I have to get one and I have a friend that owns a store locally
:)
He showed me last time one that have a battery and can be reclined digitally. The battery could last a month

I was reading this thread and want to replace my 18 year old Ralph Lauren club chair. Found this k10 for a fair price in Long Island (I live in Portland). It is cash and carry. Any ideas on how I can pay a service to pick it up and ship to me? It would match my Maggie 20.7 in white cloth and silver trim.

My Ekornes Stressless Reno is really comfortable. I know of someone who found it too comfortable and fears to fell asleep while listening.

Currently, I am using a Scandinavian recliner I bought in 98. After a few years I put it aside, and haven't used it until recently. Before this I was using a Lazy-Boy recliner, Hermen Miller office chair, and an Office Max Executive chair. While all three served their purpose, I am now really enjoying revisiting this recliner.

Who knows what will be swapped in next month?

Well, that didn't take long. In the week I used this chair I pulled a muscle at the bottom of my lowest left rib, and my lower back was killing me until I switched. I went back to my Office Depot Executive chair, and my body is getting back to normal. I knew there was a good reason why I stopped using this leather recliner.

Anyone who is over 6 foot height I would recommend a custom made chair. They are made to your size and usually bought by the elderly. My chair is 16 years old and just came back from having the arms recovered and the latest base mechanism fitted.

I suspect you are correct. I am 6'3", and have to have a footstool at the end of a LazyBoy recliner foot rest. The freaking leather recliner was just uncomfortable.
