Wow. It is great that QRP, AS & co is growing. Those presses look like they need a complete pull down and overhaul. I hope he spends proper on those presses to get them to proper production specification. As a loyal international customer, its all about the quality that comes out of his plant. Why else would international customers pay for these considerable exports...
cool story. now that Chad will double his capacity, economies of scale would suggest 45 rpm double LPs should sell for $25 instead of 50...wishful thinking:sigh:

I wonder what it cost him for the presses?
My guess is way less than you might think. I bet he didn't pay $10k a piece and he may well have bought the entire lot of 13 for $100k or less. To the untrained eye they all look like junk and Chad will have to invest lots of money to restore them and bring them up to the standards of his other presses.
True but what about the cost of moving and shipping?
