Mike and Nick ,
Thanks for the pics. The VAC room and CH room look pretty amazing. Marten room ceiling is hilarious. They need some lava lamps as well :)

Great photos. Those big Focals with the VAC must have been amazing!!!

Best room so far. Those big Focals with the 450's reproduced a symphony in scary detail and imaging and sheer size.

S5 with absolare was also great.

The Bryston room was best sound for the buck so far. James and his team once again have done an amazing job at a show. Their room was rocking. The Model T's were sounding crazy good for $4995 and as always, the 28sst2's impress!

But LOTS MORE to see!

SoundLabs is in room 4004 at the Tropicana in Las Vegas this week through Friday. They are displaying the M-1PX panels powered by ss amps from MSB. The room is quite small, but they sound lovely. Dr. West is there so it is an excellent opportunity to meet him if you wish.

Additionally, there is a pair of Majestic 845PX speakers in a very large room, powered by a pair of very impressive Wavac single ended triode tube amps on the main floor of T.H.E Show. Very impressive sound. Do not miss this room if you attend!

I am dividing my time between these two rooms, as well as visiting others. Please stop by and say hello if you can. Should I be elsewhere, you will find my business card with phone #. Give me a call and suggest a time to meet.

Mike

Once again - you've done good. You have covered A LOT of territory in a short amount of time.

Thanks.

Thanks Jock. See you tonight/tomorrow. Will be hitting a lot more today. Wilson. Pass. Krell. Etc.

I need a little scooter or something. So much ground to cover on my own.

Mike,

Awesome job. Great photos. I love looking at all the great gear. Wow!

Only here six hours. Further reports to follow. Wisnon Lampizator room was a bust. Speaker guy did not show up. They were scrambling to put a system together. I saw these huge lamp dacs?7 vs amps Sadly no evaluation. Maybe Mike can wonder by later in the week.

Nick

They had a temp solution later in the day with borrowed speakers and should be optimised today in 2 rooms with the new Intuitive Designs speaker models. (unfortunate delay it seems).

As a side note, I enjoyed hanging out with Bret D'Agostino. Bret is a super cool guy and very knowledgable. I said to him, "so tell me Bret, do you and the old guy ever get in any heated arguments?" He laughed out loud and said, "oh yeah." Bret definitely is building some terrific products. I love what he is doing with Class A amps and his new line stage looks great. We spoke at length about channeling heat of his big Class A amps. He's come up with some great ideas.

It was great to meet Dan and his lovely wife Petra. Dan explained to me in detail his new integrated and how he handles heat. Ingenious.

I also enjoyed the Shunyata room(s). The first room is two sofa's, one with Grant and one with Caelin. I walked in and sat down and had the pleasure of speaking with both of these great guys for 20 minutes. They are passionate about the proper foundation for any system - clean power and cabling. AC and DC. I gave Caelin and idea and I hope he follows through with it. :)

Time to hit the floor. Later sharks!
