I am curious about the Cayin 805 tube amps. This tube is suppose to have more magic than a 300b. Any experience with the Cayin 805 amps anyone?

Yes. I have one. Surprisingly good for the money.

I don't usually have bluetooth on any of my gear as this one does, however I feel it can be a bonus to help bring people into the hobby without the need for external boxes and DAC's.

From a sound perspective, it was open and airy, and had a bit of the "popular" type sound tuning that I suspect is popular with the less-than-high-end-audiophile crowd.

Parts quality (like the volume knob and such) were par for the price point - meaning there is better at higher price points.

But it seems they put their budget where it matters - decent build quality, sound, and easy use.

Some gear is a sound that won't make me listen longer, this was not one of those.

My thoughts on their Jazz 100:

Thanks. Long time tube equipment user but not willing to outlay a huge amount to "test" the qualities of tubes in amps I am unfamiliar with. I did this with my 300b amp and made me realize the buzz behind this power tube. I have no experience with the 805 tube and not many budget amps using it, A YouTuber just raved over the Cayin CS-805a immediately after reviewing a similar 805 tube amp that was the second coming in audio. Not many good sources for honest info so thanks for your opinion.

Happy to help. It's a muscular sounding amp that honestly will service most people fine. It's a compelling offering.

Any experience with the Cayin CS-805a? It doesn't have the Bluetooth and METERS!!! Seems to be a more "audiophile" oriented amp? Thanks

I have not. I would only say based on experience with their JAZZ series I bet the 805a's could sound pretty darn good.

What I liked about the JAZZ is they did a nice job picking tubes that came with the amp so that most people will be happy with how it sounds out of the box and have no need to tube role.

If the 805a is better (which it likely could be being more audiophile oriented) it would be a lot of great sound for not a lot of money.

My only question would be to further look into support should you ever need it for their amps.
