Mike.......Thanks for the information. If you are using the USB out form the N10, the oven controlled crystal oscillator is not used. I will be using the coaxial digital output specifically to take advantage of the OCXO clock generator. I plan to power my N10 from a PurePower 2000 AC regenerator with battery backup. That eliminates abrupt shutdowns from power loss. Interesting to know the N10 is able to automatically recover from such an event.
A 48TB NAS seems huge to me. It would take me three lifetimes to need that much storage for music.
Dan - I use the AES/EBU for my Berk REF 2 DAC. That does utilize the OXCO clock generator, I believe. It's smart to use the battery backup.
The 48TB is 11TB of music and the rest is my wife's RAW/JPG photos. She's a part time photographer.
