Thanks. She's strictly an indoor kitty, but one day she sneaked out of the house and my wife found her in the garden looking as if she owned the place!

No cat will ever come near my listening room.

Mine doesn't bother my system at all. Occasionally she sits/lies on top of my Oppo when it's warm, but since the drive mechanism is fully sealed, what little fur she sheds won't hurt it. Mercifully, she doesn't seem interested in chewing cables, and she's de-clawed, so she can't hurt the grill cover on the ML's woofers or my sub-woofer. Most of the time she just curls up in my lap when I'm in there listening to music!
