Cartridge burn-in Grado Prestige Red 1 ???

Just installed new Grado Prestige Red 1 cartridge on Sota Comet T/T should I expect some burn-in or break-in time for cartridge ?? Thanks Y'all

Yes for sure. The main aspect of cartridge burn in has to do with the suspension settling in. Break in will depend on cartridge but typically 20-30 hours would be a good area for the cartridge suspension to begin settling in.

Douger the Grado PR1 is sounding as good as it can for 140$ cart, didn't want to put a lot of money in cart...My Lady friend talked Me into resurrecting the Sota Comet that had been sitting around for at least 15 years "ok baby" cleaned and oiled bearing assembly, new cork record mat, and new rcord weight, along with new Avanti Allegro din/rca phono cable, biggest improvment was phono cable...
