Hey guys. I turned on my stereo yesterday and put on an album I never listened to before and it sounded so good and the stage was so deep. So After that I went to some favorites and everything seems to all of a sudden sound so much better. I have not moved or changed a thing. My cadenza blue cartridge is probably
at the 110-120 hour range. I thought this was broken in a long time ago. But it seems it wasnt. Even running through an average amp and average speakers I'm very impressed at what is going on with my system now. If its not the cartridge I'm not sure what it is.
Glad I listened to a/v Jeff who told me to stick with the blue and don't make any decisions until I put 4-500 hours on it.
Same type of thing happened last week. When I got my pre I called the dealer who sold me this integrated to ask how to bypass the pre A d just use the amp.
He told me to turn the volume 1/2 way and run through the first aux input. I did that and was happy for a couple weeks. Then I simply turned up the volume on the Int to 3/4. Allowing me to not have to crank the pre volume as much and everything sounded way better.
I'm having a good couple weeks of upgrades without spending a dime!!
Anyway just surprised this cartridge took over 100 hours to sound so good. Have a nice day everyone.
