I just ordered a pair of Cardas Parsec XLR's. They are a mid to lower priced cable-$368 for 1 meter, although I paid $100 less on sale. I should receive them in 2-4 days and I will post a review. They are supposed to lean a bit on the warmer side with out sacrificing detail and clarity. They are replacing the Quadlink line.

Cool. Looking forward to your impressions.

I am interested in these cables too. I had some conversation with a Bryston user and they LOVED the Parsec cables. I have ALWAYS been a Cardas fan.

I received my Cardas Parsec XLR's today. They are replacing my BJC XLR's. I have about 30 minutes on them. Initial impressions are they are more detailed, with more air and transparency. Treble is more forward and the sound stage is wider. They sound brighter than the BJC's with a lighter midrange (they are not thin sounding but it just may be that there is more air and transparency). It is strange because the parsecs are supposed to be a warmer cable. I will give them about 50hrs of break in before deciding on whether to keep them.

An update on the cables-the sound is improving after some break in. I have about 20hrs on them but they will need more time to fully reach their potential from what I have read. Bass is improving as is the midrange. I think that the cable will be a keeper.

I am a big fan of Cardas products.:)
The new Parsec Interconnect, are excellent value for money.
In my opinion, remain very similar to the Quadlink, but an increase of more dynamic, are a little less round, and therefore have greater transparency, especially on medium frequencies.
