Can Lumin devices play from any 'Personal Streaming Services'?

So Computer Audiophile recently published some guides on how to stream a personal music collection

Personal Streaming Services Part 1: Vox - Bits and Bytes - Audiophile Style

Curious.... is there any way for one of the modern Lumin devices (X1, U1, U1M, T2) to 'play' from a personal music streaming platform? This might be an interesting alternative for some users instead of running a traditional NAS, L1, or other file server on the LAN. The idea would be for an icon to appear adjacent to the Qobuz or Tidal tab in the Lumin app, and when selected, would permit the user to browse their personal (remote) streaming collection and play.

Thanks

Lumin has supported something similar for many years. You can access your home MinimServer library from your friend's place (with a Lumin hardware) via Lumin app.

Here's how to use Lumin app Remote Access.

You should have a reserved (or static) IP address for MinimServer.

You can setup a port forward from the router to the MinimServer IP adddress and port 9790, and sign up for a Dynamic DNS service or note your WAN IP address.

In Lumin app, turn on remote access for MinimServer. Fill in the WAN IP / DDNS as Remote Host, and the port for forwarding to 9790.

Bring your iPad or Android phone to a friend's home. You'll still see your library from Lumin app. After joining the WiFi network there, you can add your music from your home library to your friend's Lumin and they will be played accordingly.
