Cable shootout

Thanks for posting, Mike! Kimber is one of the great values in audio cabling. Wireworld Eclipse 7 also offers tremendous value in its price range. I've decided to go with Kimber Select for my system.

I love how they pack the WW ;) Re usable :)

Yeah - at 22% more than the cost of the Kimber. And a 1% difference. I'd call that scientifically the same!

Whenever I hear about Wireworld cables, it reminds me of a not so nice person who shall go nameless here :ninja:

I tried out resonably priced HDMI cables and fineally selected Wireworld which was significantly better than all the other 300 and less cables I tried. The picture and sound wowed my wife and I.

Lol, no kidding. I'd never buy another WW cable if for no other reason but Mr. "Not so nice person who shall go nameless". I'd think a company would be more careful about someone representing their product as well as name.

Please don't let my previous post reflect my feelings toward WW, but only toward someone that pimped himself as an "aficionado" and product dealer.

My Sincere Apologies.

I've used Wireworld in the past and always been very pleased with their products.

I have a Wireworld USB Platinum 7. Excellent cable.

Mike,

+1 I have this cable too and I think it's the best USB cable on the market. I wouldn't trade it for anything. It raised the level of my DAC up to the level of the transport on my Esoteric K-01.

However, I would rather go with Kimber Select for my all-copper ICs and SCs than WW Eclipse 7. While fine cables, I've known several people who ended up trading in their Eclipse 7.

Me too Dave, it's no reflection on WW, it just reminds me of an evil SOB.

Lol. So true! I have no problem with the WW Platinum G7 range either and can live with it. I do like the higher end Siltech Royal Signature better, however price and that second hand market is an issue.

I must admit I bought my WW from Mr Burns (Homer's alter-ego) like many, during one of his mile high east coast to the world escapades. That was well before I moved out of the Springfield goyim quarter, now residing here in the non discriminating shark tank.. The dollar was above parity so I coudn't resist the quota slashing minute deal at the time and to him it didn't matter where the gold coin came from.

I can see myself wanting another WW PG7 USB down the road if I can find a deal, but I have no more shekel credits to trade, only PayPal from honest dealers.
