Cable Lifters/Risers Options.

Hello there Mike,

Having followed your journey for sometimes now, on AudioGon, I can say I love your story, as well as your taste in Audio and Music, and an article you had somewhere on the Audio Magic Super Fuse, that caught my attention last month enough to make me venture out and try them.

So, your voice becomes one of the few in the crowd that stands out, not because of what you own system wise, but because I understand your belief system, and have studied your pattern as well your quest, and know you've an ear for detail.

Thanks for sharing your tale as well, I've gained a great deal of insight on what once again seems like fewer and fewer options after all, I'll try to hear them both side by side.

You buy long lengths of this from Home Depot (pipe insulation. It has a dampening viscous gel like feel to it if you squeeze it. It has adhesive strips on long edges (covered in pix with clear tear away film). I also use these in my car port to protect from door dings - my wife will open door in side of car port. This stuff absorbs like nobody's business.

Nelson, it is confirmed! You have gone mad. You are the only person I know trying to wire his system with copper plumbing pipe.

How does it sound? :D

I am an addict. For music and gear. I spent all day today comparing gear (preamps, amps, turntables). I am now in a state of bliss listening to ray lomtagne.
 
I'd once again like to thanks each of you, that responded to my post, as it gave me a better sense of what was needed, and in fact I went with something between both the Shunyata Research V2s and Cable Elevators and ordered the ESD Cable Isolators as the 10 piece set, and should have them in by next Wednesday.

I liked the concept that they can be stacked atop one another if need be?, and saving a few coins just to get a feel for what's what?, doesn't hurt in the least, but through it all, I'm merely trying to finalize my few tweaks here and there, because as mentioned elsewhere earlier on, system wise..........., I don't have any intentions on changing out a single component lest I wish to thrown the sound that it has taken me seemingly a lifetime to achieve out of whack, and knowing in my mind/heart the system is " clicking "
( that's black speak for more then good enough, for my ears/needs ) I'd rather pay attention to those few areas, that will enhance its sense of overall musicality even more.

Thanks again guys, for merely being whom you are, and caring enough to be the voices of reason. Once again, I appreciate every single one of you more then you'll ever know, but do include all of you in my prayers each day/night, because it's so rare to feel so welcomed into a community where so many seem to just be down to earth, regardless of ones walk of life, and that's what a true sense of the terms - Brotherhood or as an Ex-Marine, Brothers-In-Arms is all about.

I figured it was a practical choice, if nothing else.

But truth be told, I wanted the Telos Audio Cable Stands badly, but in the back of my mind, to own 8 - 10 of them, the math wouldn't been way off, and more then the cost of my Mini-Monitors, as shown here:
