There are a number of items called "rebar chairs" to hold rebar up when setting concrete. Google rebar chair and have at it. Range from plastic to wire ones. I found some at both Lowes and Home Depot for about 58 cents each for black wire ones. Home Depot has black plastic stands also. Look under masonry accessories. I tried to post a ilk to both but not until I have 10 posts.

But I've already received the ESD Cable Isolators in, and have just set them aside until I've time to get out to the listening area and rearrange everything, so I'm very content with them, now I'm moving onwards to the Hi-Rez thang, and see where my research leads me on all of this?, but I'm looking forward to venturing out, so it's going to be fun.

Actually, I settled on Grip-Rite 3 in. ProLok Rebar and Mesh Chair-GRPROLK43B at The Home Depot.

Holds two cables at right angles if they need to cross each other.

From my long test, I have come to a conclusion.
The cable lifters, do, serve to eliminate vibrations induced by the cable, and not to re-create electromagnetic interference.
I've tried dozens of cable lifters, to my mind as the best value for money, are the Cardas Multi Blocks.

Cable lifters never worked for me, however if you want to try them, collect toilet paper rolls, and cut a 1 inch or so wide ring, and put them under your cables and see if they work for you.

Good idea to try them out and see if they work for you.

I use them and when I put them in my system, they made a difference for me. This was a couple of years ago.

I was having a LOT of static electricity in my room and when I put in the Shunyata cable thingys it totally opened up my system. The static electricity was interfering with system. I know this for a fact, because literally, I could touch the interconnects - a 4m set between pre and amp - and the sound would noticeably get better for an hour or two. Then I would touch them again and . . . . . totally repeatable. The cable lifters totally solved this problem.

I'd assume by now the OP has pulled the plug on a set of cable risers, but FWIW I use Acoustic Revive RCI-3H risers. Like Steve, I previously tried Shunyata DFE V2 cable risers & despite their claims, they look like cheap bits of plastic. I now only use them to keep my pc's and ic's off the ground, but use AR risers under my Statement sc's. I plan to add another 2 pieces under my sc's in the near future & will eventually replace all the DFE V2's with the AR risers which are high quality & look beautiful.

Do they improve the sound? I can't really say as I haven't a-b tested them in my system. I probably should, but to be honest I can't be stuffed. All AR gear works well and seems to impart a natural/organic quality to the sound. And damn they're the nicest looking risers I've seen, but not cheap!

I use shunyata...not sure if I can tell the diff or not. Then again, I don't want to play the same record side over and over, with and without to find out. If there is a difference, it' subtle at best, ime.

Never could tell that they made a difference, so this lets me do it anyway with little or no expense. I bought a couple of dozen just in case.
