Buying audio gear

PayPal certainly doesn't provide the protection they imply . Anyway , in the old days I used to get a flyer with listings of used audio equipment . If someone remembers the name of it please speak up . They would act as an escrow service to inspect the equipment and handle payment .

Are you thinking of Walt Bender's Audiomart? That goes back many years, but I don't remember the escrow part. Members of that newsletter were much more trustworthy than you'd find today.

Yes it was Audiomart . I bought a bunch of stuff from there . KEF , Aragon , Melos , VTL ....Ahh , the good old days .
