I just downloaded the program and I am trying to get used to the layout and features. Can't seem to take a music album and make it into a folder. Wish there were some tutorials on how to use this, besides the ones in Japanese on YouTube.

No first hand experience with it, but the latest I've been hearing is that HQ Player is felt to be the best sounding software option.

I can point you to a manual online but being a new member I can't post a URL yet. Send me a PM and I'll be able to help you out.

Cheers

I've been using BHE for some time now. It is everything people say it is.
One of the better write ups on the program is from Grizzly Audio's blog (can't post link).

Very RAM intensive so beef up your RAM for best results.

Highly recommended!

Bughead v 6.03 released along with "All core any cures 4.7" and "Rewrite data 1.57"

Hi Nikhil,

If you like 6.03, you should definitely try 6.04 beta 5, with AllCoreAnyCures 5.0 and ReWriteData 1.60.

You might also want to check out the very active Infinity Blade HQ (Bughead Emperor) thread under the Computer Audio section of the JPLAY forum.

Cheers,

Bernie

Thanks Bernie!

Yes I am a lurker on the JPlay forums - definitely the cutting edge of BHE discussions on there. I did look at the beta 5 but thought I'd have a listen to 6.03 a little before trying the beta.

6.03 wasn't too bad to my ears - initial impression was pretty good.

Thanks Bernie!

Hi Nikhil,

In that case, definitely download 6.04 beta 5 while it's available (as you're probably aware, the Bughead releases appear and vanish unpredictably). Then try at your leisure. It's a definite improvement over 6.03 in my system, although I'm still debating with myself about whether there's a bit too much bass emphasis.

Cheers,

Bernie

Thanks again Bernie.

Downloaded and installed the new beta version.
Did some casual listening over breakfast - enhanced treble is what I noticed.

Will listen more later on tonight.

Hi Nikhil.

Looks like you downloaded beta 5 just in time, 6.04 beta 6 has been released. Will be listening later tonight if it cools down, my system is in a non-air-conditioned room and it was 42oC here today. But I see you're no stranger to such temperatures!

Cheers,

Bernie

That was quick! But it's good to see that Hiro is back.

No stranger to warm weather but much prefer cooler weather.
We have our best weather right now (18 - 22 deg C)
