Budget Cables

Buy Furutech cable and connectors and DIY. It's very hard to touch the performance level of their OCC copper and connectors for the price (if you know how to solder). I would guess many of the lower priced cables mentioned so far are OFC not OCC. Big difference.

Also, the dollar is super strong against the yen giving you huge price leverage.

Excellent post FlexibleAudio. I'm running Furutech currently. I haven't gotten around to changing my status here. The product quality is exceptional, and I don't think you can do much better for the $$$$. I'd guess 30% of what you're paying for big name cables goes to advertising….
