:hi:

morning! I just got a great amp. Triode TRX 88PP.
Features
Circuit format: KT88 parallel push-pull stereo integrated amplifier
Rated output: A class 50W +50 W (8Ω)
Bias method: self-bias system
Frequency Characteristics:-2dB (10Hz ~ 60kHz)
SN ratio: 91dB

It says self bias. On the top it has a small meter, a switch that says “separate” and goes on/off. It has a knob to turn to ???select?? tubes to test or bias. Any ideas? Leave it alone? Try to adjust bias? I could not get a good picture. In the middle, front, you see the “dial”, the tiny toggle switch, and the knob labeled bias adj. send private message please! THANK YOU!! bob

Bob, you can turn the knob to each V setting, slowly, after 10+ mins and no music playing through, to ensure the needle is in the bias range (the fat part on the dial).

Bob, just play with it. If it blows up, take it back to the guy that sold it to you & tell him the magic smoke escaped & you need another one. .... hey Mike...:cool:
