This amp is for a special purpose, to power my office system. It is important. though, as it is listened to while I research at night for 2.5-3 hours every day of the week. I don't need more than say, 50wpc. I don't need a built in DAC, or any streaming capability. Just a good integrated with a quality sound signature tending towards the warmer end of the spectrum. If I was spending a lot more, I would know the answers. In this price range, I simply don't know many good options. And expertise, opinions and recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You might enjoy a Marantz Reference model before they began including the DAC.

I'm not overly familiar but warm was my thoughts when hearing an Audio Analogue integrated. Quad as well.

I would highly recommend the Luxman 595 Special Edition

The NuPrime IDA-8 in my office system isn't going anywhere.

The Odyssey Cyclops and Rogue Sphinx might also be worth a look.

I can recommend the Job INT - there are a few available used.

Absolutely perfect for an office system.
Comes with a built in DAC and accepts digital inputs.
IMO one of the best kept secrets in the audio industry.
Almost the same circuit as the rest of the Goldmund gear out there.

.

Thanks for a very good recommendation, Nikhil. Although all of them on the link from Hi-FiShark are sold, I'll keep my eye open but they seem to be pretty sparse. Likely a combination of them being discontinued in 2016, and owners not wanting to part with such a great value.

Might want to check out a Vincent integrated.
It would fit your description.

Thanks for the recommendation. I had thought about one of the Vincent SV 200's but I'm not entirely sure that the 25 wpc will sync well with the 8 ohm 86db sensitivity speakers I have.

Where are you located?

The SV-500 has 50 watts@8 ohms and 80 watts@4 ohms
Should be more than enough to meet your volume needs.
AudioAdvisor in Grand Rapids MI has them new and it's in your price range.

Not integrated but check out the amp and preamp already assembled.

GT-102 Stereo Power Amplifier

I have the amp and it’s absolutely wonderful and the amp is dead quiet, scary quiet.

I have seen older Prima Luna tube amps sell for about this amount. From what I understand is that they are reliable and have a warmish sound.
