BAT preamp?

I just won a bid on a BAT VK-51se. It is going to replace my Pass Labs X1. I am hoping to gain some tube midrange fullness and warmth while maintaining the transparency, detail and sound stage of the Pass.

Any one interested in buying my X1 for $2100.

congrats!!!! i think it will exceed your expectations, it is a fine preamp. and i wish you many happy years with it. as i mentioned earlier in this thread im a big BAT fan and ive owned 3 of their preamps and a few of their amps in the past. loved em all.

i had a bat vk50se and this phonostage in 2004 and it was an awesome setup .lol.

I would love to add a TT and phono preamp. I have a couple of hundred LP's from my college days sitting in my basement. Right now I want to concentrate on getting the most out of the system that I have. My next upgrades will be a new DAC or a Marantz Reference/Ayre SACD or CD player. Then maybe the Magnepan 3.7i's which I recently heard.
