Balanced input shorting plug

What is the correct, and where do you get a shorting plug to go into a Dagostino amp input. Purpose is to short the input and run the amps isolated to check for ground issues.

a DIY version would be to solder an old fashion 1/4 Watt resistor (that's one with leads) between pin2 & pin3. Resistor value somewhere between about 100 Ohms and 1000 Ohms. Then put the metal shell back on the XLR connector.
 
If you need some, I can make you up a pair or two pairs as I use them on a pair of hybrid tube amps that I have made by Aria
I can’t take one apart and show some photos of how these are done for these old highend amps. On these if you use the rca as the inputs, you have to use the mod xlr plug
