Bad situation but Great Support from Aurender!

purchased a used N10 from a dealer and it arrived broken due to poor packaging. It is a high end audio dealer so I would have thought they knew how to pack their equipment! There was a 3 inch gap between first box and second box. There was also no padding on one side of the box!! All the screws were loose on the unit and the front faceplate also fell off. Needless to say the unit did not power up.

Dealer refuses to refund and says unit was working beforehand and that it is not their responsibility once it is shipped. This is BS given that no one can safely ship an object that is not packed properly, resulting in a 40 pound projectile in a paint can shaker. He maintains that nothing short of a crate would have saved the unit!

Aurender support was very responsive has stepped in to help estimate damage and repair!

The saga continues...my options are to repair or to do a paypal dispute

Sorry you are in this situation. I hope it gets resolved quickly and properly.
 
I would dispute with PayPal as the loose screws like that “probably” didn’t occur from shipping. Who knows what that unit has been through. Disappointing for sure. I’ve been fortunate and always had good experiences buying used gear. Good luck.
