My wife and I took a drive (a long drive that my low back is still hating....a long story that still has unknown consequence) to Northeastern Indiana to pick up a travel trailer for some current and future camping trips. Loved the trip, camping on the way home in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas and five additional nights camping in Colorado after a stop home to re-supply. The time away from our regular schedules was refreshing and we're looking forward to more of the same this summer / fall and beyond.
However, after putting on some Haydn on vinyl tonight after our little trip, I'd forgotten how much I truly enjoy my system and just sitting to relax and take in the beautiful music that is produced.
It seems taking a break (a short break) from the stereo system is good, since the re-visit is that much more enjoyable! What's the old saying?...."absence makes the heart grow fonder"? I think that old adage may well be true.
A roadside stop somewhere between Monticello, IN and Springfield, IL....Crescent City, IL I believe:
