Computer Audiophile - Ayre Acoustics QB-9 DSD DAC Review
Chris Connaker of Computer Audiophile(BTW JOE also a TAD CR-1 owner) just completed his glowing review of my DAC.
As he is also a big lover of Lumin setup I hope he will give a relative opinion of the sonic differences. He certainly loved the sound, the complete isolation electrically and the price(3250)

Very interesting. Chris uses Spectral with his CR-1's. I can't imagine how that sounds .

he has top of line classic single ended MIT cables as well. He certainly gets enough gear passing thru his doors and yet spectral seems a somewhat sterile choice.

That was my thought too. I am curious how my Lumin will sound on the TADs. Awesome I bet. Bruce has the Ayre QB-9+ and loves it.

Nice review, Nick, thanks for sharing. Ayre also recently got an enthusiastic thumbs up for their new integrated as well. Seems like they are firing on all thrusters!
